A guiding philosophy of Grace Christian School is that parents are the educators of their children, and teachers are responsible for supporting and assisting parents.  We offer a formal educational balance teaching children in a learning environment that exalts the Lordship of Jesus Christ in every area.

Many parents have special talents, skills, and experience that can benefit the student body and the school in general.  Some of the ways volunteers have contributed to Grace Christian School are:

  • Lead arts and crafts
  • Teach Physical Education
  • Assist with class parties
  • Drive and chaperone field trips
  • Monitor the playground before school
  • Administer spelling tests
  • Help with administrative duties
  • Oversee the school “store”
  • Coordinate special projects

  • The things I learned at Grace, both inside and outside the classroom, benefited me all the way through high school and into college.

  • One of my favorite parts, aside from academia, was the camaraderie with the students and parents.

  • Because of the outstanding academic preparation... our students had a huge academic advantage over their peers when they entered high school.
    Parent of three graduates
  • My grandson is learning so much and far above the curve of other schools.
Kathy, grandparent of a current student
  • The respect for authority and work ethics promoted at this school, coupled with biblical principles and training are reasons that I would recommend GCS...
