A well rounded education is more than just gaining knowledge and remembering facts. Part of the essential education of every student at Grace Christian School is the nurturing of positive character traits, good conduct, and efficient work habits. A sense of responsibility is taught with each child assigned to one job cleaning and maintaining the classroom. These duties rotate quarterly and are posted in the classroom.

Key character qualities are monitored and reported on your student’s report card:
- Respect – for the authority of others, the rights of others and the property of others.
- Responsible – for being dependable and self reliant, for preparing for school daily, and for following directions well.
- Self Reliant – in using time well, in responding promptly to others, and avoiding disturbing others.
- Diligence – in working carefully, completing work on time, and showing effort and perseverance.
- Positive attitude – by being cooperative, accepting criticism cheerfully, and showing interest in spiritual things.
- Courteous and kind – by being polite and gracious, showing empathy for others, and working and playing well with others.
